Condolence & Memory Journal

I am so sad! Liz and I haven't spoken since high school as our lives went different directions. My heart breaks as I remember my childhood friend. She was one of the few to befriend me when I moved to southern Iowa in the 6th grade. I have very fond memories of our time together at her home as children playing by her creek, in her barn and sleeping over. We were best friends for a year untiil Jr. high where we made new friends. One year doesn't seem like much, but for me as a child her friendship reached deep into my heart causing me to mourn deeply for her now.

I just heard of her passing today. I would have wanted to be there to honor her.

I pray for God's comfort to embrace and comfort you as only He can!

Oh how Liz will be missed by so many people. I remember so many fun family gatherings that we had so many years ago. Liz was such a loving person and tried so very hard at anything and everything that she ever took on in her life. She was a real go-getter. Her heart was always in the right place and now she is in a better place. Rest in peace my sweet lady and I pray that her siblings and children find some peace and comfort.

Love always - Kelli Simonson

We remember Elizabeth from her childhood, always kind and loving. Elizabeth made her best effort to attend the gatherings for Grandma Littleton's birthday and other family occasions. Her suffering has ended, and heaven is a better place with Elizabeth there. Our prayers are with all of you, especially Elizabeth's children, who will miss her loving guidance.
