Richard Donald Hostetler, 56, of Hamilton, Illinois passed away at 9:50 a.m. Friday March 13, 2015 at Blessing Hospital in Quincy, Illinois.

He was born on December 2, 1957 in Adrian, Michigan the son of Dale and Lola (Herin) Hostetler.

Survivors include one daughter Riccy Sue Hostetler of Dallas City, Illinois, two sons Dustin Dowell of Macomb, Illinois and David Wayne Sills of Atlanta, Georgia, three grandchildren, two brothers David Hostetler of Atlanta, Georgia and Paul Hostetler of Atlanta, Georgia and one sister Carolyn Anderson of Nashville, Tennessee.

He was preceded in death by his parents and one sister Diane.

Rick worked as a deck hand on a barge line. He enjoyed music, fishing and gardening. He was the drummer in the band "Slink Rand & Dogs".

Richard's body has been cremated. There will be no formal services.
