Richard E. Morris, 60, of Farmington, Iowa passed away at 7:57 p.m. Tuesday, October 21, 2014 at his home.

Born August 23, 1954 in Farmington, Iowa the son of Melvin and Juanita (Frazier) Morris.

Survivors include his mother Juanita Gray, one son Jesse Morris, two brothers James Morris and Larry Gray and two sisters Linda Cook and Joleen Morris.

He was preceded in death by his father Melvin, one sister Nancy Glenn and grandmother Edna Morris.

Richard was a member of the Assembly of God Church in Farmington. He enjoyed gardening and being with his friends, he was a mentor to all. He loved his dogs and the highlight of Richard's life was being a father. Jesse's scripture for his father is "He will wipe every tear from their eyes. There will be no more death or mourning or crying or pain, for the old order of things has passed away." Revelation 21:4.

Richard's body has been cremated. There will be a private family gathering at a later date.
