Ruth E. Huff, 90, of Farmington, Iowa passed away at 6:40 a.m. Sunday, September 6, 2015 at Fort Madison Community Hospital in Fort Madison, Iowa.

Born May 15, 1925 in Bonaparte, Iowa, the daughter of Lloyd and Jesse Stevens. On April 1, 1945, she married Elmer LeRoy Huff in Kahoka, Missouri. He passed away September 24, 2011.

Survivors include one daughter, Audrey (Roy) Davolt of Farmington, Iowa; two sons, Maurice Huff and Michael (Rhonda) Huff, both of Farmington, Iowa; eight grandchildren; 13 great-grandchildren; four great-great-grandchildren; one brother, Marvin Stevens of California; and several nieces and nephews.

She was preceded in death by her husband, Elmer, her parents, one grandchild, and six siblings.

Ruth graduated from Bonaparte High School in Bonaparte, Iowa. She worked for Hols Produce, Jack White's Hatchery, the Iowa Army Ammunition Plant, Breck Shampoo, and the Glove Factory. Ruth was a member of the American Legion Auxiliary. She was a harder worker. Ruth enjoyed knitting, crocheting, taking care of her grandchildren, and Sunday dinners with her family.

Per her requested, the body has been cremated. There will be no services.

A memorial has been established in her memory. Memorial contributions may be sent to Schmitz-Lynk Funeral Home, P.O. Box 56, Donnellson, Iowa 52625.
